When Fall Guys announced that it was going free to play, the community managers briefed us to keep the community engaged in the run up to its release.

The brief was to roll out a marketing stunt that would get the community talking, so we took the idea of big, expensive brand partnerships and flipped it on it's head, by sponsoring a bench in Skegness - A place to take a break from falling by sitting, for free.

The official bench launch was complete with tourist attraction signs around Skegness, a full-page ad in the Skegness standard, an opening by the mayor of Skegness, a string trio and bench interviews from the Fall Guys community managers.
RESULTS
The bench received over 1 million organic views and 9.5 million twitter impressions, and continues to live as an official tourist attraction on TripAdvisor, Visit Lincs Coast and Google Maps.
Fall Guys F2P reached 50 million players in the first two weeks after launch.
